Summary

The Chariot class of starship is a unique design from Starfleet's Advanced Design Bureau, avoiding the swan neck connection between the primary and secondary hull. Instead, the Chariot is designed vertically, with the Primary hull stacked above an elongated engineering hull. The reason for this design was the advent of the two Linear Compression Warp Nacelles, as well as the installation of an Exotic FTL Drive from SADB's black box detachment.
